Glass Etching Workshop
One-Day Creative Workshop | 4 Hours
Discover the art of glass etching in this relaxed and hands-on beginner-friendly workshop. Over four hours, participants will learn how to transform plain glass into beautifully decorated pieces using traditional and contemporary etching techniques.
The workshop will introduce the basics of surface preparation, stencil design, masking methods, and safe etching processes. Guided step-by-step, each participant will create their own etched glass piece to take home — perfect as a decorative item or personalised gift.
No previous experience is required, and all materials and tools will be provided.
During the workshop you will:
- Learn the fundamentals of glass etching
- Explore design and pattern transfer techniques
- Use stencils and resist materials
- Create depth, texture, and decorative effects on glass
- Complete your own finished etched glass piece

When you purchase your pass, you receive 10 session credits. Each class attended uses one credit. If you can't attend, give at least 24 hours' notice and your credit can be rebooked into another available class within your 14-week pass period.

Just 1 minute's drive from the Strangford ferry (approx. 10 minutes' walk from the terminal). The ferry runs at quarter past and quarter to the hour. Parking is available at the studio.
